Game: |
Raleigh Thunder (4-0) vs. Carolina Oilers (2-2) |
Raleigh Thunder by 2 |
|
Analysis: |
This one should be good. The Thunder owe the Oilers some much needed revenge for a bit of 'slave' trading during the last two seasons that luckily have not left the Thunder in as bad of shape as you would think. The Thunder's Borowitz has been extremely cold in his last couple of games, yet the Oilers although they are winning ball games are still missing a very important piece and sorry guys, but I don't see you returning 4 interceptions in this one. And I must say, I hear that the Commish actually enjoyed watching you all play this weekend. He knew you had it in you to win BIG and quietly...your actions on the field in Week 5 spoke louder than any of the trash talking you're famous for....I'm all for a change in identity without losing intensity...and Hodge what the heck has happened to your flag pulling skills, I remember a point in time, if you got to the QB he was sacked...looks like the competition has figured you out!

26 - 24 Raleigh Thunder | |

Week 5 |

|
Game: |
Reservoir Dogs (1-3) vs. Infinity (2-2) |
Infinity by 7 |
|
Analysis: |
Did Derrick Smith call me out on the Message Board...well I think he did. Dude you can't be mad you're not picked by the RO, when every time he picks you ... you lose! You're killing my record. Therefore, I'm not picking you again...win some ball games and maybe we can talk about it. And what makes this pick even better for me is that Infinity has stunk it up real bad in the last two weeks and they are still going to smash you in this one. Yeah that pretty much sums it up...oh by the way I have a question for you? Was Ryan Hagen the QB answer we were supposed to watch out for this weekend? Just checking...although where's the defensive help that Ryan could use...you got that situation fixed too? Good luck gentlemen.

Final: |
28 - 21 Infinity | |

Game: |
Da Inc. (0-4) vs. Titans (1-3) |
Titans by 6 |
|
Analysis: |
Too bad I can't give 0-0 ties. Let's see...what to analyze. The Titans horrible....Da Inc. even more horrible. That should do it.
|
Final: |
19 - 18 Titans | |

Game: |
Raw Talent (3-1) vs. Average Joes (3-1) |
Raw Talent by 8 |
|
Analysis: |
Okay, so Raw Talent is back and they are playing as well as expected. The Joes are surprising the hell out of me and even won a game without Kyle Mitchell ... Dude when are you going to show some consistency. Now although I do like Matt Martin and Danny is one nasty dude...and I don't mean nasty good, I mean nasty. Without Kyle Mitchell in this game...the Joes do not have a chance. It's really that simple.
|
Final: |
35 - 22 Raw Talent | |
|
Week 5 |

|
Game: |
Assault (4-0) vs. Steel Heels (0-4) |
Assault by 28 |
|
Analysis: |
Wow, what do I say. Well we already know I'm not picking the Heels again and geez they're playing the Assault. <Sigh> - We'll get 'em next year guys!
|
Final: |
46 - 8 Assault | |
|
Week 5 |
||
|
Game: |
Dazz (2-2) vs. Bad Boys (2-1) |
Dazz by 11 |
|
Analysis: |
Please tell me Bad Boy Patty Duke is not going backwards...after having a superb season a year ago, Duke seems to be back too struggling with moving the ball....only 13 points against the RWP defense...not good. Dazz as we know is much better than 2-2 and Duke cannot afford to struggle in this one or it will get out of hand before the Boys know it. And they are not good when playing from behind. I got a feeling Jamal Seetram (top 5 favorite player) will have a big day - REAL BIG!
|
Final: |
27 - 12 Dazz | |
|
Week 5 |
||
| Game: | Raleigh Woodpeckers (1-4) vs. Accounting Squared (3-2) |
Accounting Squared by 20 |
| Analysis: | Woodpeckers lose. | |
| Final: | 42 - 16 Accounting Squared | |
|
Week 5 |
||
| Game: | Bad Boys (2-1) vs. Warriors (3-2) |
Warriors by 2 |
| Analysis: | Yeah, I don't think this is going to be a good day for the Bad Boys. They'll come out fired up after their loss to Dazz, but will they have enough in the tank. The Boys usually don't play doubleheaders, that could be a factor. The Warriors are turning out to be the Dow Jones of the League...up and down...up and down...I think they squeeze out the 'upset' - Don't let me down boys! | |
| Final: | 21 - 18 Warriors | |
