Each week - the Resident Oddzmaker - MUAH - will give you the skinny on games for the week.  There will be analysis, team breakdowns, the lines and more.   You will also be able to find the lines themselves in the latest version of THE WIRE. This is strictly for entertainment purposes only...don't think you can bet on the games, because you can't.

Week 2

Game:

Warriors (2-0) vs. Assault (1-0)

Assault by 14

Analysis:

Despite 2 impressive victories in Week 1 and the team's first doubleheader....Warriors WELCOME TO THE LEAGUE! This one will be nothing like the first two.  Because he's back too....and this time I'm talking about Mr. TAFFL himself, no not Mr. Cole, but Mr. Bergman...and when Bergman's at the helm...and THE ASSAULT is on the field....there is no stopping them. Yep...Welcome to the League!

Final:

46 - 22 Assault

*Challenge Players...here is a good example of a properly submitted score and spread.  The Assault are favored by 14, yet the score reflects a spread of 24.  By rule, a player is allowed up to ±10 pts for spread and scoring purposes.  When the +10 is added to the spread the 24 pt. differential in the score is valid.

Week 2

Game:

Dazz (0-1) vs. Raleigh Woodpeckers

Dazz by 8

Analysis:

I will say this about the Woodpeckers....good thing you're getting them out the way now...Menard, get those boys right!  Definitely a physical and athletic team, however that defense is going to have to step up a bit....A BIG BIT!  Loomis got your middle locked down and I like that new little speed rusher you got... he definitely should be a top 10 sack leader this season.  Dazz is angry...and they should be...how do you let a new team come in your house and mop you off the field....you a pre-season favorite to go all the way.  Ken Little you should have played COED so you could have stayed loose...but if I know Wood, Seetram, Brown, Booker, and Groves they'll bounce back...and it appears they'll be having Peckers for lunch on Sunday!

Final:

24-12 Dazz

Week 2

Game:

Accounting Squared (0-1) vs. Steel Heels (0-1)

Steel Heels by 3

Analysis:

Accounting Squared looked horrible.  Not even sure why Dion Arnold was at quarterback, nor why he wasn't benched.  Hopefully Co-Captain and proven winner Mike Woolard will be back this week.  As we saw, his team was not more important than the Ohio State / USC game in which he attended and watched his Buckeyes get DESTROYED, ANNIHILATED, EMBARRASSED....kinda like Accounting Squared.  The Heels, well they hung tough against a gritty Warriors team and that effort gets them the checkmark.

Final:

24-21 Steel Heels

Week 2

Game:

Titans (0-1) vs. Reservoir Dogs (1-0)

Titans by 6

Analysis:

Dunn, I know it gets frustrating...but don't let your team or your fans see it on your face.  You got a great core now, just got to get everyone on the same page.  First of all though, don't ever let Nick Shinn Quarterback again!  Second of all Kevin Dick was open 85% of the time, and third of all EDDY GIDNEY needs to be rushing.  Moving forward with those three things in mind will garner instant success.  Trust me!  I predict Gidney will have 8 sacks in this game!  The Dogs gave us a heckuva game to watch against Da Inc...an overtime thriller for the ages, but it will be shortlived...not sure if you guys can match up with the Hurricanes full strength, however, if we ever get a full strength TITANS team, we'll see their true potential.  The last time these two met...Dequain Walker was the hero, knocking out a potential game winning catch by who....Derrick Smith, the same player who score the game winner in overtime in Week 1.  So it should be good to the end.

Final:

26 - 25 Titans

Week 2

Game:

Cold Heat (0-1) vs. Raw Talent (0-1)

Raw Talent by 9

Analysis:

I refuse to even waste my time...as I know how much of Mr. Cole's has been wasted.  Mr. Cole can you please call that captain and even see if their going to show up. Messing up my picks and records by forfeiting....even after I picked them to win.  NEVER AGAIN! Raw Talent in a blowout...D. Hodges 10 sacks!!!

Final:

26 - 7 Raw Talent

Week 2

Game:

Infinity (1-0) vs. Da Inc. (0-1)

Infinity by 13

Analysis:

Well, well, well.  Looks like a few INFINITY members have broken out of their ZOO cages and have started the season off right.  I've never seen Xavier Overton-El throw the ball as well as he did against the Raw Talent in their season opener.  Of course, you have to count on Mr. Alston to score regardless and this new kid they have by the name of Trent Chambers.....wheeeeeewwwwwwww!  Now if they play like they did against Raw Talent and Da Inc. plays like they did against the Reservoir Dogs...this one will get ugly fast!  Da Inc. saw a great deal of promise last season, but down the stretch could not get it done, which has seemed to carry over into this season.  Blaser has got to become the Blaser of games 1-3 in Season VII and get the team back on track.  Some heavy additions in Charles Jonassaint and Alex Brooks should help the team to break out of the slump, but they will not be able to do it alone!  Infinity continues to roll in this one!

Final:

27 - 14 Infinity

Week 2
Game: Average Joes (1-0) vs. Raleigh Thunder (1-0)

Raleigh Thunder by 12

Analysis: This shouldn't take long.  Did you see Raleigh Thunder? I did....Conference East BEWARE.  Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to see the Joes in action...however, I still GUARANTEE they will not match-up!
Final: 32 - 15 Raleigh Thunder
